[Opinions] Lieve (f)
It's Slavic, pronounced "Leev-uh". I love it - what are your impressions?ETA: As many of you have kindly pointed out, it's not Slavic, it's Dutch...oops!

It doesn't strike me as Slavic. In Dutch it means 'sweet' or 'dear'. I don't like it because of that meaning, it's too sweet for my taste.

Aside from initial hesitation upon not seeing the pronunciation, once you gave the pronunciation I started liking it. I reminds me of Lisa which is my mothers name but it's softer and looks much prettier on paper.

Uhm, not to be annoying, but Lieve is a Dutch name as far I know...
Anyways, that doesn't really matter, because I like the name regardless of where it comes from :)
I think it's very sweet sounding.

i don't like it sorry, mainly due to the way its pronounced but also because it doesn't really look like a name to me.

I hear "leave a," but I think that'd change if I met one. After all, I used to say the same thing about Liv, but now I know one--and I hear her, not "leave," when I see the name.Lieve looks really pretty. Reminds me of "liebe." :)Array
