[Opinions] WDYTO the new Dutch princess
Replies
Ariane is a refreshing name for a princess... I'm sure that the other two babies born to crown princley couples this year ( CPs Felipe and Letizia, CPs Frederik and Mary) will have much more traditional names.
Then again, Maxima has always struck me as a vibrant and lively lady, so the name doesn't really suprise me!

Beautiful! This is definitely a royal couple that knows how to name their kids.
It's alright. I like that Ariane is new in the sense that it's not a family name... I think Wilhelmina is very beautiful. I don't really like the names Máxima and Inez, but it's nice that she was named after people who are special to the family :)
Cute! I really like Ariane and Maxima. Wilhelmina is cool to see; Inez is the only one I don't care for. I'm not really feeling the "A" theme, though - Amalia and Alexia are too close as it is.
aww what a regal name! I love it! Shame about the A theme though, but I do like it - suits a little princess.
Gorgeous!
I love it! It flows beautifully & does sound like a princess' name. Ariane reminds me of Ariadne, but is softer. I love Maxima. It is such a strong name. The sibs are nice too although I don't like it when sibs names' all begin with the same letter.

haha, last time somebody else beat me to it, so I was better prepared this time :D
I was worried for a moment it was Ariaan, I'm glad it isn't.
The name still reminds me of Arie Haan though :P

I like Ariane (prn A-ree-a-nuh) but they will pronounce it as Ariaan! That is too bad I think. You can hear it hear: http://www.depers.nl/video/247728/En-we-noemen-haar-Ariane.html
