I like them both. I guess I favor Ivy for a child born today, because Iva seems more "dated" (serious, old) to me and Ivy seems "antique" (sweet and romantic). Ivy Demetra was what I came up with when fantasizing about naming my daughter Ivy (my husband didn't like the name, because of associations with "poison ivy" so we didn't use Ivy).
