Lately I've been really liking Amaryllis, do you think it's too over the top? I love it's meaning - to sparkle :) The flowers aren't half bad either ;) but I think some people might think it really frilly so I just wanted to get a general opinion.

I have thought about using it to honor my mother, Mary. I love frily names... nothing is too frilly for me!

It is a bit on the frilly side and would due to its length be sahortened by her peers but it is pretty, and has fairly attractive nn potential

It is really frilly, but I like that. Amaryllis is a lovely name and there are a lot of nn options like Amy or Rilla.
