The first time heard it I hated it! I really like it right now although it would never honestly be somethig I would consider naming my future child. I probably like it b/c of River Phoenix.

It isn't my style at all. I don't dislike others using it; it just isn't my taste. I picture it being used by trendy, artistic parents or nature loving, hippie parents.

I've always liked the name River....for a boy or a girl. Never could think of a good mn to go with it though!

It's something I like on other people's children, but not my own. I really like names with water meanings, though. Kai, Tallulah, Beckett, and names like that appeal to me more.
