[Opinions] Esa
I really like the girlsname Esa (prn. AY-sa). As girlsname it is derived from the old Germanic word 'asen' meaning 'gods'.
So wdyt of Esa? And what middle name would go with it? I'm looking for something a bit soft, I guess. Thanks in advance!

I think Esa looks interesting, but I and others might be inclined to pronounce it EE-sa. As for mn's, I think something French would work best. Esa Gabrielle came immediately to mind.

I personally can't think of Esa as a girl's name because it's a boy's name in my homeland (Finland). It makes me think of a 30-40-year-old man who is starting to lose hair. I prefer Åsa (which, I reckon, is distantly related to the feminine Esa)

For my taste it's a bit TOO pretty, but it's very nice.Esa Katherine, Esa Marguerite, Esa Christine, Esa Lenora, Esa Patricia, Esa Colette, Esa Maria, maybe.
