I like Caitlin, though it's terribly popular here. But who am I to speak of popularity? It's never stopped me from liking a name before. :) And Cait is a great nn.
I don't care for Alexis at all, but that could be because I don't really like Alexandra, Alex, Alexander, Alexandria, etc, sorry. I would say that if you did use it, I would like it better as a nn than a full name. Definitely sounds feminine, but not particularly mature, perhaps because all of the Alexis's I have known have been young girls.
