I think I would like it moreso as a nickname for Marcella.

I like Chellie as a nn for Celeste, and I could see Chella / Cella working similarly. On its own, though, it doesn't really appeal to me.

Pretty, but on first glance it looks like someone left the R off of cellar. I can imagine some old woman from Boston yelling 'close the cellah door!' :b Maybe I just need to go to bed, lol.

It reminds me of the instrument cello. It's a nice sound, but I don't think I'd use it.
