[Opinions] Re: George

As mom to a six year old George, I think it works very well on a child today. Although George is pretty highly ranked (139 in the U.S.) I've only heard of one other child named George in recent years.
Funny thing about "old" names is, once you meet a child by that name, it just brings it new life! George can be a cranky old man or a lively toddler.
If you are interested in the perspective of a modern little boy named George, my son really adores his name. He loves to introduce himself and hear adults saying what a strong or handsome name he has. He goes on about St. George, Curious George, his great-great grandfather George, and his Aunt Georgiana, all of whom he was named after.
