[Facts] Ingelore
I'm searching for the meaning of the name Ingelore. It is a female name and I believe it is either German or Scandanavian in origin. I've searched the web trying to find a meaning but to no avail. Would it happen to be spelled Ingalore or Ingelora? Thank you!

Hi La Guarda,
I don't know where you've got the information from, but most of it is wrong. Just try the links!

I get all my info from babyname links such as www.babynames.com
Don't trust Babynames.com for meanings. It's incorrect 90% of the time.

Hi Kate,
Ingelore is a German double name drawn together: Inge-Lore. You will find both meanings here on the site (just try the links).
I've never heard of or seen the variations Ingalore or Ingalora, but Ingelore is quite common for German women older than 40. Another - very rare - variant is Ingelor.
