Full name with nn Will
William Oliver Klejn
Yes
I like William very much. It's one of the few "funky" names I truly like (and by "funky" I mean wonderfully classic and old fashioned -- not an insult at all). Having said that, if I were to have a son, I'd prefer something far less common than William.

1. William! Wiliam is absolutley hideous--it's misspelled and looks illiterate or like a mistake.
2. I adore the nickname Liam. Will is also nice. Willy is slang for "penis", and Bill(y) is SO dated and ugly.
3. William Oliver is fantastic, but Willam Oliver is terrible. William John is a bit boring, but nice.
4. William? Yes, very well. Willam? No way.
5. William is a fantastic name!

1. William, by far.
2. I like Will best I think. William second. I don't like other William nicknames.
3. William Oliver, although both are nice.
4. Goes very well with those.
5. I have never liked William very much, but it's good when other people have kids named William. It's a very strong, handsome, old-fashioned name, but it's dreadfully boring to me. But yeah, go for it.
BTW, I hope Willam was a typo for William? :)

Sorry, but I don't like the name William at all.
Thanks
Thanks
*William is my preference, though as far as all variants go I'd love it if someone else went with Willem. Reminds me of quirky, awesome Willem Dafoe. :-)
*I prefer it be used as a full name without a nickname, though I don't have any particular opposition to Will. Bill doesn't bother me either--wonderfully dry on a small child, very usual on a man--though I dislike Billy very much.
*William John. Oliver has such an ugly sound to me. I hear "olive" and "liver" in it at the same time, a disgusting concept both food and color-wise.
*One of William's upsides is that it goes well with almost anything, IMO. William Alan, William Ethan, and William James all sound good.
*William is one of my favorites; I go back and forth between it and Lawrence as my top male name. It's definitely a classic, and I think it's versatile enough that it can sound sweet and boyish to me, but would also be very fitting on a grown man. Can't go wrong with William.

I prefer William. I guess if I ever used the name William, I'd mostly just call him William but occassionally using Will as a nn. Will's the only nn I like from above. I think I'd proably only ever consider using it as a mn, though.
I personally prefer William Oliver. I think William John sounds more like an older man because both names are very traditional sounding but with Oliver, I feel the balance is just right. I think it goes well with Alan, Ethan and James.

1. William
2. Definitely Will or William or both. Please no Willy or Bill.
3. William Oliver. It has more to it than William John.
4. Yes.
5. While this is a very very nice name, it is extremely popular where I live, but I still really like it. It may be my baby's middle name if it is a boy. I know triplets and one of them is William Grant. the other two are Patrick James and Logan Richard.

a few questions:
- William or Wiliam? - Definately William, Wiliam looks odd and would never be spelt right
- Full name or nm Will/Willy/Bill/Billy? I prefer William with Will as a nn
- Willam Oliver Klejn or William John Klejn - William John Klejn
- Does it goes well with familly names like Alan, Ethan, James? yes
- any coments/opinions/thoughts?
William is a strong masculine traditional name full of history, its also a family name to me, I like it a lot

nt.
I efinitely prefer William over Wiliam or Willam. The other two don't seem very complete to me. William is a very handsome name...I like it either on its own, or with the nicknames Liam or Will (I prefer Liam over Will, but both are nice imo).
I'd go with William John Klejn. Oliver is one of my least favorite names...reminds me of olives and seems so old fashioned/dated to me. I love the name John, though :-)

William is boring to me, and I don't care for Willam either
- William. Why would you purposely misspell it in such a way that would never be acknowledged the first time throughout his life?
- Billy. Will is pretentious, and so is Liam. And everything else is eh, though I do dig Wim / Whim.
- William John Klejn, because William Oliver feels a bit too now for me.
- Of course it does.
- One of my least favourite names, I'm afraid.
