Aw, Vera was my grandmother's name. Actually, she was Veronica but went by Vera.

That is a very nice combo. It kind of rolls off the tongue. Vera Iolanthe... I love Vera as a name on it's own, but it also makes a nice nickname for Guinevere

I love Vera, mostly because of my aunt. She pronounced it Ve-rah, not Vee-rah. I like both, and Vera Iolanthe is very pretty.

But if you say it really fast the vowels run into each other (at least they do for me) so I would use Vera Calanthe.

I don't like Vera. First of all I had a hamster named Vera and she was really mean, secondly a little girl ruined it for me years ago. She was... let's say, not nice. I like the combo though!

Vera is a gorgeous name, a favorite of mine also. Vera Iolanthe is also a gorgeous combo. Two thumbs up!
