[Facts] Mattea Pronounciation
Does anyone know the proper proounciation of Mattea (feminane form of Matthew). Is it Ma-tay-a or Ma-tee-a?

Doesn't it depend on what language we use? You get little English girls called ANN-dree-a and little Italian boys called an-DRAY-a, so it wouldn't surprise me to find ma-TAY-a in European countries, if they use it, and MAT-ee-a or ma-TEE-a if she's English speaking.

Pretty close to what I expected! But, you say it "would" be pronounced in that way: is Mattea used as a name in German? I've never encountered it anywhere.

well, I never really heard it here, but the masculine form "Matteo" is pretty often used here!
