[Facts] Lodiska
My great-grandmother's middle name was Lodiska. I have been told her mother named her after a Russian friend. I have tried to find an origin for the name Lodiska, but have had no success. One of my great-aunts wasn't sure if the name was Lodiska or Lodisea, but my grandmother always said Lodiska. Is Lodiska a Russian name, as I was told? Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know where the name comes from, but neither Lodiska nor Lodisea are Russian.

It might be associated with the name Lidochska. I found this name in the database, and it was Russian too.
