Ditto.
I can't think of a single name that James doesn't sound nice with James in either the first or mn slot.
Edited b/c I left out an object in my prepositional phrase. :o)

Everything goes well with James.
Seriously, it's hard to find a miss.
James Dorian
James Andrew
James Tyler
James Ignatius
James Calvin
James Brayden
James River
James Grant
James Ricardo
James Kenichi
James Vladimir
James Madhur
James Morpheus
James Hiawatha
See? James flows with just about any style of name you can think of. Since I don't know your favourites, you'll have to go through them yourself and pair them up, but I'm willing to guarantee that 90% or more of them will sound fine as a middle name to James.

Absolutely agree (and excited to see Ken'ichi!)
Ladyelven: I think Array is quite right; James is practically the perfect name, as far as combos go. Whether it's fn or mn, you can pair it with vitually anything and everything.
And just to mention - Array: Ken'ichi and Kenji are my occasional pet names for Alex and Gideon, respectively, since they mean (approximately) "strong first son" and "strong second son." Alex, who is an enthusiast of all things Japanese, gets a kick out of it.
