[Facts] English Form of Name
I have many male relatives, all from Italy, with the first name of Cesidio. Does anyone know what this name means? Also, although many of them are called "Joe" in English, I am told that is not the English translation for this first name.

There is Roman family name Caesidius which is probably the origin of the Italian given name Cesidio.
For Cesidio several Italian name websites (in Italian) give a meaning of "pale", e.g. this one which also mentions a saint with the name:
