[Opinions] Emmogene
While on a trip recently, I visited a cemetary and saw this name on a tombstone. Is Emmogene like an 1800's kre8ive name for Imogene? I'd never seen it before! WDYT?

Interesting, for being that far back. I probably wouldn't mind it, but I really don't like the -gene ending, even in Imogene. Prefer Imogen.BTW, I really like your signature! ;D

OTDo you watch 24? We have the first four seasons on DVD. I have yet to see the third one. Can't wait, though! If you watched the presidential debate the other day, you might have noticed that the people were given a senario where a nuclear bomb was going to go off, and asked what their response would be. They all answered like they were supposed to, but the last guy said, "I don't know about you, but I'd be looking for Jack Bauer!" Cheers, applause, etc...

Interesting! Yeah, I reckon it is a hybrid of Emma / Emmeline and Imogene. I'm not a fan of hybrid names but this one isn't bad.

I don't like Imogene, so I don't like Emmogene.

Er...I actually kinda like it. I don't know why, since I normally hate invented names, but Emmogene appeals to me. Maybe because I like Imogene, and like names that begin with an E.
