How do you pronounce Evey? I've been saying EE-vee ever since I met Jess (posting name Evey), but suddenly I'm wondering if it's EV-ee. So... If ya'll could help, I'd appreciate it. :-)

I've been saying EH-vee in my head, but not for any real reason.

I think it is EE-vee, thats how I've always said it.

It's the former, like Eve with an E on the end. EHV-ee makes more sense spelled as Evvy or Evvie.Array (as anyone who's seen or read V for Vendetta can tell you)

Evvie/Evvy make more sense but they also look like Ewie and Ewy--ewwwwwww+y. :-/

I automatically pronounce it EE-vee, but it could easily be pronounced EH-vee as well.

Just looking at it, I'd be tempted to say EHV-ee, but I think it's mostly pronounced EE-vee. However, I'm sure there are also people that go by EHV-ee.

I automatically pronounce Evie and Evey as EE-vee and I pronounce Evvie as EV-ee

Evey, and Evie, are usually pronounced EE-vee. But it can also be pronounced EH-vee. I work with a woman named Evelyn nn Evie who goes by the short 'e' pronunciation.

I say EE-vee, and also EEV-lin for Evelyn. I don't like the sound of EV much at all.
