My family originates from the Breton region and my pepe still lives there. Common surnames include:

Bréhat
Batz
Molène
Sein
Glénan
Groix
Belle Île
Houat
Hoëdic

And if your looking for the french equivalent of a double-barrelled surname: d'Arz.
