[Opinions] WDYT of Linden?
I think it's very pretty although my sister heard it and said it made her think of Lyndon. In other words, a man's name. But I think it's a pretty GIRL'S name. :) Thoughts?

I adore Lyndon on a boy but for a girl? I'm not so sure. It has a nice enough sound but the fact it's part of the trend of using boys names on girls kind of turns me off it. I think it could work though.
I like it on a boy
I don't like it as a girls name at all but I /love/ it spelled either way for a boy.
The only person a know who is called Linden is a 50 year-old woman. So, for me is only a girls name

I've tried to picture Linden on a girl, and it just doesn't work for me. I prefer it on a boy--in my mind, it fits into the same soft but dignified category as Winslow. On someone else's child, though, it could probably work.

I like it, quite a bit.
It's one of those names I wouldn't use, but it's pretty. Linden is all girl to me, Lyndon boy.

I like it quite a bit, and I would also use it for a girl. Lyndon is masculine to me, but this is just another nature girl's name IMO.
I prefer Linden on a girl to Lyndon on a boy. I think it's a great name. It's been on my list for years, just not quite high enough that I'll likely use it.
100% boys name to me, Linden would be horrid on a girl.

I like the way it looks, but I agree with your sister--it sounds exactly the same as Lyndon. Linden is not my style anyway, but even if it were, I wouldn't use it for that reason.
