Anna is my MN ;)Why does everyone from USA want a NN for their baby? Name her Anna and call her Anna or name her Annie and call her that. So, nay if you want to name her anna and call her annie..

I like Annie, but for some reason I don't like Anna too much. Anne nn Annie is more appealing to me.

I love the name Anna! It's short simple and sweet. Yay!However, with the nickname Annie, I'd give it a nay. I like Annie for, say, a dog's name. However, for a human, it's NMS.

Nay! No! If there's one name I hate it's Anna. It's just...horrible. Annie on the other hand is really nice. And I definitely prefer Anne to Anna.

YayAlthough I always think of Anna and Annie as separate names. I'm also not a fan of the nn being longer than the fn.

Anna is overused, and when it is used it is often used without reason. Anne sounds nicer IMO. Annie is cute, and is fine on its own for someone of any age.
However I would not shudder at someone named Anna, it's a nice name and all, but not memorable in any way.

Yay!I love Anna. It was my favorite name for a long time, but got replaced with Colette a while back. I still think it's lovely, though. Annie is all right, but I don't really think Anna needs a nn.

Anna is OK, but I prefer Anne. And I don't like Annie as a nn, it's better on its own.

DittoAnna is one of my favorite girl names--classic, simple, and gorgeous. I loathe Annie, though. I find it really hickish and ugly and it ruins Anna's gorgeousness.
