[Opinions] Xenia
What do you think of Xenia? I used to think it was weird but it's growing on me, its' original, has a nice meaning at it might be cool to have a name starting with X. The downside is that' it's a bit harsh-sounding and reminiscent of a Russian stripper or something.

Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna Romanova was the daughter of Tsar Alexander III and sister to Nicholas II, the last Tsar.
A picture of her taken in 1903 was the inspiration for one of the costumes of Padmé Amidala, from the Star Was prequel trilogy.
Not too bad as inspiration, don't you think?

How do you get Russian stripper out of a Greek name? *eye roll*

the Russian stripper name...
It's originally Greek but possibly more common in Eastern Europe these days, and all the Xenias I've met are Russian. so that eye roll was superfluous. I don't think it's stripper-sounding in a Russian context, but since it's very exotic sounding in a Western European one, it reminds me a bit of the sort of name an Eastern European stripper might use over here.

Xenia is a gorgeous name that deserves more attention. I don't know why it reminds you of a Russian stripper because I think it sounds educated and substantial, not harsh sounding at all.
