I think it's lovely, prn EM-uh-leen. (I'm just sayin', 'cause some people prn it like Emmalyn & some people say EM-uh-LINE). I also prefer the spelling Emmaline, but that's just me. Emaline & Emmeline are equally lovely. :o)

Emmeline is beautiful

However, Emaline looks ignorant and silly. Emmaline and Emeline are also legit spellings, but Emmeline is by far my favorite.

I have to agree with the other posters, I prefer Emmeline. Emaline looks misspelled. Emmeline is a very nice name.

I can't decide between Emma and Emily, so Emmaline or Emaline is a good compromise. And if you're concerned about popularity, this is also a good compromise.

I love Emmeline

Its one of my top names right now and if I had to rename myself, its definitely a name I'd consider using (other than Sarai). However, I don't like it spelt Emaline, sorry.

ditto; prefer Emmeline, and here's why

To my eye, Emaline looks as though it should be prn EE-mah-lyn / -line (as in "straight line"). I think it's the solitary M. By contrast, Emmeline, having that double M, seems clearly to be prn EMM-eh-lyn / -line (though I like the former). The E in the middle, as opposed to an A (Emmaline), gives Emmeline a French feel (to me, anyway, because of Emeline, I suppose), which I really like.

I love this name spelled Emmaline or Emmeline and with the pronounciation Ehm-ah-line. For some reason I can't stand the pronounciation Ehm-ah-leen.

I've noticed it getting more and more popular lately. I prefer it spelled Emmeline, and I think the NN "Emme" is very cute!
