[Opinions] Shalimar/Shalimara?

I like the name Shalimar for a girl! I know alot of you don't and thats fine. To each their own! I would be grateful if you would give me some middlenames for Shailmar or Shalimara?Also would you please tell me which you would use if you had to?ShalimarOrShalimaraThanks

I'm not sure what it means! Other than named after Shailmar Gardens.Their was also a TV show that had a girl named Shalimar but can't remember the name of it! I love the name though!

I prefer Shalimar. It has a lovely sound, but does it have a meaning? I checked out your link, but it just said it came from the Shalimar Gardens.

My sister's name is Shalimar. Obviously, it is entirely feminine to me, and Shalimara looks weird to me. Her name is Shalimar Wray. :) She has always received many nice compliments on her name, and no one ever forgets her b/c her name is so memorable.

http://www.thinkbabynames.com/meaning/0/ShalimarHere is one of the baby name websites that lists Shalimar. It is generally regarded as a girl's name, I believe. It is Indian in origin.

I'd use Shalimara, as that's obviously feminine. Shalimar would have gender confusion on forms, because I think many people would think it was male. It's a pretty name. What does it mean?

I'd use Shalimara; Shalimar seems too masculine to me.
