Brings Charlize Theron to mind, but it's not bad. I'm not sure of the correct prn. when used as a given name, but I'd assume THAIR-on (rhymes with Sharon, "th" is soft like in "think"). ETA:
BTW, we had a set of triplets at work and the father was Theron, but I never heard it pronounced. But the triplets were William, Waylon, and Tharyn, the last one being a girl. Not sure if they were pronouncing just like the dad's name or not. (It's nmsaa, just so you know. :b)
