[Opinions] Myrto
A few weeks ago there was a post on female names ending in -o, and recently I met a woman from Greece with this name. WDYT? I really like it, but I was wondering if it would be inappropriate in a non-Greek speaking context if you don't have any connection, familial or otherwise, to Greece.

I like it and I don't think is inappropriate.
I don't like it. I don't think it would be inappropiate in a non-Greek speaking context.
I don't think it would be "inappropriate" in any way whatsoever.
It sounds very like Myrtle when I say it, Myrtle in a lazy way. It's okay, but it reminds me of Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter at the moment.
edit: Okay, looks like I've been saying it wrong. I like meer-to better.

How is it pronounced? If it is pronounced the way I think it is, then it does sound pretty. It kind of rolls when you say it.
it's meer-to with an open "o"
