I would pronounce Xanthia as zan-THEE-a and Xanthea as zan-THAY-a. I like Xanthea better.

I prefer Xanthe, Xanthea or Xanthia seems a little too much for me. Sounds like it should be the name of a new diet drug or something. :-/ Either way, the Xanthia spelling looks more correct to my eye somehow but with Xanthea, the nn Thea (over Thia) would be a nice option. :)

I've never heard this name before but I prefer Xanthea over Xanthia. I would be more inclined to pronounce it zan-thee-uh, but zan-thay-uh is also very pretty.

Xanthea is so cute, but Xanthia is the correct version, as far as I'm aware... Still, I like Xanthea. Like causegirl said;

I would be more inclined to pronounce Xanthea as zan-thay-uh and Xanthia as zan-thee-uh. I don't have a preferred spelling.
