[Opinions] Corwin
This is probably really lame of me, but I am really liking it because it means "leather," and my last name is sort of the Italian version of "tanner."So what do you think of Corwin, and can you suggest any combos?

I actually think that it is a very cute name. It reminds me of the surname of Jeff Corwin the biologist on animal planet. I like him so that is a good thing.

I'm attracted to it because it reminds me of Corvus , which means 'raven'. 'win' means friend, so when I saw it I thought of 'raven friend" which I love. 'leather tanner' is pretty tacky, but both names are obscure enough that I don't think anyone would notice.Corwin Augustus

Corwin Dominic
Corwin Elliot
Corwin Evander

A future child would have his father's LN, not mine. That's why I like the idea of connecting it subtley.

Our last name was an Italian version of "tanner"? How did I not know this?I like Corwin AND Corbin, which I suggested to you weeks ago and you didn't like. But then the meaning is different and you're into that more than I am. ;) I don't think it's lame, but I think it IS stretching it a bit.
