Message: "Sashana" - Behind the Name

I saw this name today while I was visiting my grandma in the hospital. It was one of the nurses names, and she had an accent but I couldn't really tell what kind. I'm assuming Sashana is some sort of elaboration on Sasha. I think it's kind of pretty but I probably wouldn't use it. Wdyt?

Interesting. I've never heard this before but I kinda like it. I've always like Shoshana & Sasha.

It's okay but my tongue slips when it try to the the s- sound followed immediately by the sh- sound, its a bit of a tongue twister.

I'd guess it was more likely a variant of Shoshana / Susannah (sp?). I'd need more information before I could say if I like it or not.

I only like Sasha for a boy, as a nn of Alexander. (Not that you asked, I just wanted to add that.)
