Tumnas as a fn or mn? WDYT? Is it a bit too The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to be used on a real child?

Absolutley. But then, that's been my favourite book since I was 5. The association might not be as strong for other people.
That aside, just going on the sound of the word, I don't like it. It sounds like a stomach medicsation, for bloating or something. NMS. I could get behind it as a mn if it was a family name or some special meaning behind it, but for now I'm going to say no.

It is far too "Narnia" for a first name, but as a middle name, it would be enchanting! Very cute!

Yeah, I immediately thought of Tumnus the faun. Still, it might not be entirely unusable as a mn. It has a cool sound to it.

LOL that is what I thought of right away was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Its not my style. But if I were to use it I would put it in the mn slot.
