I am writing a story with the main character named Loran. I am also consitering Lora or Lorah. What do you think about these names?

I agree that Loran strikes me first as a misspelling of Loren. Lora is okay, but I don't care for Lorah. Have you also considered Lorna?

Loran looks like a misspelling of Loren, a male name, so I can't get into the idea of it being a female name. Lora is okay, and looks better than Laura, but it doesn't look legit (although I know it is).
