[Opinions] Caelie
WDYT of Caelie (pronounced like Kaylee)? Is it worth the inevitable "No, C-A-E-L-I-E."?

No, not worth it. Kaylee or Kayley would be better.:)

Absolutley not worth it.Kayley and Kailey are gp's- but they are the only spellings I can get into at all. I can't even stand Kaylee, let alone Caelie. Ugh.Sorry.

I prefer Kayla. :)

I don't like the name with any spelling, sorry. It just seems too cutesy and doesn't age well.

Not worth it, not even a little

I like names spelled differently, and this one is great!!! Go for it!!!

To me, it doesn't seem worth it. Not only does it have a high likelihood of being misspelled all the time, but Kaylee/Kayleigh/Kaylie/Caelie names don't seem to age well at all. It's cute for a little girl, sure, but I can't imagine a forty year-old named Kaylee.

I really don't care for any of the Kaylie, Kylie, Keelie group of names but I do think the spelling is a great choice. It looks so pretty even if I don't like the sound.edited to add that I don't think there's a consensus in spelling any of those names so it probably wouldn't be any more cumbersome to have to teach people to spell it Caelie than to spell it Kayleigh or Kaley or whatever.

I like this name a lot, although I perfer the spellings Caleigh and Kaylee. But that spelling is better than some other spellings I see.

I think it definately is! Caelie is one of the prettiest spellings of this name I've found. I know a girl named Cayleigh, and everyone just asks how to spell her name instead of guessing.Celi would be even prettier. There is supposed to be a fada over the e, and it is pronounced the same. A Celi is a traditional Irish dance!

I've only seen the dance spelled Ceili or Ceilidh ....
