I know your great-grandmother spelled the name Saydee, but I really do think you should stick to the correct and traditional spelling of 'Sadie'. Besides, it's the sound of the name you want, not necessarily the spelling. I'm afraid the spelling 'Saydee' looks too tryndeigh to be taken seriously.
