Most of the "dodgy" baby name websites mention Adalie, pegging it as part of the Adelaide / Adele / Alice family.
I'd suggest that if it's a legitimate French name then it's more likely to be a Frenchification of Adalia.
However, I can't find anything concrete about its origin whatsoever.
