WDYTO Elisavet? A little different form of Elizabeth, I thought it might be a good mn. Any combos you can think of? Thanks!!

I'm not hugely keen on using foreign names unless you have some kind of connection, familial or otherwise, to the country in question, especially in a case like this, where the name has a close equivalent in English. But anyway, since you're thinking about it as a mn I don't mind it so much.

I don't understand. Did you mean to say, unless you do have some kind of connection? And when you say "rules are less strict for mn's" what rules are you referring to exactly? I'm confused.

I meant unless you have some kind of connection, I'll correct it. I'm not a native English speaker and sometimes if I don't pay enough attention I get muddled up. As for rules, I meant any internal rules one might have in picking names, that become more flexible in the case of middle names since they're not used on a regular basis. I'll rephrase that as well, since it's unclear and might make it sound like I believe my own naming rules are universal. And I promise to always reread messages before I post them in the future.
