I think of John Muir, founder of the Sierra Club and graduate of UW Madison. :) If you go to our state's Historical Society building, they have this neat clock he created. He'd be a cool guy to be the namesake of, so I approve.
Ronan Muir's all right, though I'm not a fan of Ronan. It just reminds me of ronin, and to quote Wikipedia on the word: The term rōnin is also used in modern Japan for those who have failed the yearly school entrance examinations for high school or university, and then decide to spend the next year studying to retake those exams. It originally meant a samurai without a master, so the modern usage is a logical metaphor. :)
