Help[Opinions] WDYTO Hathor?
personally I think Hathor is an extremely cool name. the problem is I can't tell if it's to harsh sounding or not and the hole Stargate thing might be a problem (though I got over that with Freya). Opinions anyone?

The stargate thing doesn't bother me, I just don't care for the name on a person. It sounds like someone misprncng Heather imo.

Stargate aside, I dislike the name. I just think it's a bit much for a person. (I rather like it for a cat, though.)

Is it a short a or long a? Because if a short one, it kinda sounds like Heather to my ears, but if it's a long a it kinda sounds like someone with a lisp saying Hater. I like it in theory, but I think it would cause confusion with all the little Heathers running around the world.
ETA: And I just read the description and it said the goddess had the head of a cow....Er...I don't think I would want to be named after a cow-headed goddess.

short a, the Hath rhymes with wrath. I was thinking that since she is the goddess of love it sorta cancels out the cow-headed thing (and I really wouldn't mind being named Hathor).
