[Opinions] Aedan?
What do you think of this spelling? Is Aidan better (or any other spelling?) I'm really starting to like it but Aidan seems so boring.

If Aidan is boring these days (and I agree it is), pick something else. Changing the spelling is not enough. We don't put names in writing all that often. Aedan would have an overused name *and* a name that everyone spells wrong. Better to use something else entirely.

I don't really like it, Aidan is the only attractive spelling for me. And I don't think the spelling Aidan is boring, it seems to me all the other spellings combined (Aiden, Aedan, Ayden, etc) would be more common, therefore Aidan would actually be refreshing for me.

I actually prefer Aiden.

Aidan is boring, but so is Aedan, Aiden, Ayden, etc. Because no matter how you spell it, it's still the same name and said the same way, and it's overused.

I'm cool with Aedan. Its entry says it's an old spelling form, so even though it's not the more usual Aidan it doesn't irk me. I assumed by looking at it that it was a Celtic variant rather than a "modern English" one.

Aedan is OK, the spelling seems a little more Celtic, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still Aidan.

ONLY Aidan, please.Argh. I hate that a name that can be spelled so many different ways is SO popular.Of course I think Aidan in any form is "so boring," so.

Aedan is kre8tif and tryndeigh looking (even though it technically isn't). Aidan is 100 times better, IMO. I wouldn't use it at all since it is the #1 boy's name in the USA. Since you live in Sweden that would not be a problem.

Aidan is much classierI wouldn't touch Aidan or any -ayden name with a 30ft pole though. Yawn-inducing.
