[Opinions] Tamara?

Which way do you (personally) pronounce Tamara, tah-MAR-ah,TAM-uh-ruh or TAM-ruh? I've heard it said all three ways which do you use?

My best friends nameShe says TAM-ruh. I like that the best. I also like TAM-uh-ruh. I don't like tah-MAR-ah at all

I know of a few, and most of them say TAM-ah-rah. One says tah-MAR-ah, and I've heard it (maybe on tv) once or twice as tah-MARE-ah. I don't care for it at all, no matter how you say it. And Tammy as a possibly nn is abysmal.

I prefer the tah-MAR-ah pronunciation, but the only girl I've met with the name pronounced it TAM-ruh.

I have a fourth way to add...Besides TAM-uh-ruh, tah-MAR-uh, and TAM-ruh, I have also heard tah-MAIR-uh...I would avoid this name just because of how many different prns there are. I use all four. I always try to find out how the girl says her name before I call her anything, but most girls I know go by Tam or Tammy anyway. My cousin (who is tah-MAIR-uh) goes by Tammy, my best friend's sister (TAM-ruh) goes by Tammy also, and another friend I have (TAM-uh-ruh) goes by Tam.

tah-MAR-ah (though personally I prefer Samara -sam-AR-uh) but thats just me.
