[Opinions] Thalia
Love this name, and the meaning. Problem: S.O's name is Oliver, nn Ollie. Does Ollie sound too much like Thalia/ possible nn Thali?edit: also, other possible nns for Thalia besides Thali?

I don't think Thali and Ollie are too close, they have different vowel sounds. Tallie, Thia, Lia, Thala, Tala

I love the pronounciation your using... and the name... but it's not mine, just the username.

Lia would be a cute nn.It's one of the nicest names from mythology. And Thalia was a good character too: she showed up infrequently but was one of the Graces. I think that it's fine without a nn, too. I don't mind Ollie and Thalia or Ollie and Lia, but Thali is kind of too out their for me anyway, IMO.

Well, I've always heard Thalia pronounced "THAY-lia." So no, I don't think it's too close to Ollie. But you are obviously pronouncing it differently, "TAH-lia." So yes, in that case Thali and Ollie are too similar.
