I love it. I had a friend all through elementary and middle school named Esperanza who we called Espi or Ebi. (Yes, she had a nickname for her nickname- she went as Espi always so it was kind of her full name to us.)

I like it, and it's meaning is beautiful as well.

I think it's very pretty, but it seems a bit unreal on a person, possibly because it's unusual and I can't see any more "normal" nns in it.

I love the name and the meaning. It is among my favorite Spanish names for sure.

I think its great, but would feel weird using it since I'm not Spanish.
