Today the name of the day seems to be Rania, lol. What do you think of it? Another variation is Raniya.
Also, what do you think of the following combos:
Rania Socorro (I credit Miss Lillian with my recent enchantment with this lovely name.)
Rania Anahita
Rania Xochitl
Rania Khadija
Rania Yasmine

I'm not big on Rania, but Rania Yasmine and Rania Socorro flow very well. I love Socorro, my fave combo is Isla Socorro!

How are you pronouncing it? I have a friend name Rania prn RAHN-yuh. But Raniya looks like RAHN-ee-yuh.
I don't like Rania. My friend Rania always gets called Raina or Rainia (RAIN-yuh). It doesn't bother her though.

YAY! Another Socorro lover!
That name has been on my list for years, but I have a feeling I'll never, ever find someone else who likes it. :-( I honestly far prefer Raina to Rania, but it's cool enough.
Rania Socorro - This is the one I like the best, because I think it's really usable. While Anahita, ~Xochitl, and Khadija are great names, paired with Rania it's just a bit too much. On the other hand, Lauren is a total let down. Rania Socorro is perfect -it's very romantic, very beautiful, and a very powerful name. May I borrow this combo?
Rania Anahita - Again, this rhymes to me.
Rania Xochitl - This is my fav. It just has SO much panache - I'd adore it if my middle name was ~Xochitl. (Thought only if I had a different middle name. Haven ~Xochitl ---Falk would have really made me hate my parents)
Rania Khadija - very cool, but slightly rhymey to me.
Rania Yasmine - Lovely, but Yasmine is slightly tainted for me by that baywatch creature.
Rania Lauren - Lauren does nothing for me, and is a totally let down. :-(
