Horatio and I met in our freshman college English class on the first day. Later we found we also shared a Chemistry and Calculus class, where we took turns tutoring one another (I'm good with Chemistry; he's good at Calculus). Near the end of the semester, he asked if we could continue spending time together, and he proposed before we returned home for the summer. Although we never officially dated, neither of us had made any secret we were attracted to one another, so it was no surprise when we became engaged.
