I found out I was expecting our first child shortly before Father's Day, and despite being thrilled and wanting to tell John, I decided to surprise him on that day. We spent the day with his father, and when it came time for gifts, there was one with John's name on it. As he opened the gift, it was obvious that he was very confused, and after unwrapping a box with a bib in it that read "I Love My Daddy", and a note that read, "Congratulations...You're Going To Be a Daddy! Happy Father's Day!" the look on his face was priceless. Of course the realization sunk in as he looked at me, and I couldn't withhold my grin or my excitement. No doubt, a Father's Day to always remember :-)
