We told Patrick he was going to be a big brother at his second birthday party, when I was about three months into my pregnancy, when one of his gifts from us was a t-shirt that said "I'm a Big Brother". He didn't understand at first, but when we explained the concept to him, he couldn't wait to meet his new baby brother or sister.
