Yesterday, Simon and a few other kids were playing on the playground, like usual. They decided to all jump from the monkey bars (apparently Simon's friend, Adam,'s mom wasn't paying much attention... I'll be sure not to have Simon go to the playground when she's there now. But as I was saying, Simon and his friends Adam, Tommy and James decided to jump off the monkey bars. Simon (being the daredevil he is) jumped first. And, as told by Simon "I heard a cracky sound but I thought it was a twig or something". Then his friends when. They all landed fairly fine but got scrapes and cuts. That wasn't good. We've been teaching Simon to avoid the temptation of human blood. According to Simon, this is what happened. He was getting up and he smelled the blood. He could take the temptation and ran home. He's gotten a lot faster and his friends didn't see him go. That was really bad. By the time they got up he was already home and thet started screaming for Simon, according to his friends. The mom finally started paying attention and called the cops. When they came to our house, I was looking at Simon's arm (I'll get back to the broken arm part in a minute) and I had to make up a story that I actually told Adam's mom that I was picking Sim up at 4 because he has piano lessons at 4:30 (Since the clock read 4:45 when I said this, Alice became a piano teacher. Luckily she can play.). I told the police that when I picked him up the mom was talking to another woman and she acknowledged that I was picking Simon up because I said "I'm picking up Simon." and she was like "Ok. Whatever.".
But back to Sim's arm. When he got home he said his arm felt "a little funny". I looked at it. And since I'm no doctor, I had Carlisle look at it (It's a good thing to have a doctor in the family). Carlisle said it's broken, but it'll be healed by the end of the week, Simon being only a half vampire and all.
A few months ago, we heard news of a clan of other veggie vamps (Ha! Don't tell Edward I called him and his family and friends 'veggie vamps!'). Well, these other vampires were in some kind of war. Edward refuses to tell me the whole story though (he's sensitive about this stuff. Ugh!). But all I know is the only person left remaining was the youngest member of the clan. Macy is only '12' years old. In real time she's only a few years younger than me though, 20 to be exact. And since that clan was like Carlisle's best friends (litterly forever. I mean do you know how old Carlisle actually is? He was like, born in the 1600s or something... ok... I just asked Edward who replied "1640". That means he's... almost 400 years old! But then again, Edward is really over 100 so I shouldn't be talking.). But since they were best friends Macy came to Forks to live with us.
