[Opinions] Lyria
A while ago I met a South African woman and I thought her name was Lyria. It turns out that it's Lirea and it's not her real name but a family nickname that stuck.
Anyway, I've had it in my head ever since then. I think it would make a lovely girl's name spelt Lyria. Any thoughts?

Variations on a theme. I love them all. :-)
Sounds like an illness!
And there was I thinking it was quite pretty! Oh well, it's worth finding out these things before I plan on using it!
Amelia and Ophelia sound like ilnesses too
but they're still pretty. (imo.)
I don't really like Lyria because it sounds kind of contrived. It's pretty though, in a liquid fairy sliding light golden shimmering without any substance at all kind of way.

Don't forget Alexia! ;-)

It is pretty
I don't think it sounds like a disease. That's my opinion. Sophie does think it sounds like a disease. That's her opinion. Just because you get one (or several) negative opinions on a name, that doesn't mean you can't use it. This has probably become a bit cliche, but if everyone had the same opinions on names, we'd all be named John & Martha.
ETA: Looking at your list, I think it "fits" very nicely with your other girl's names.
