About 10 months ago, Alex and I took the kids to Disneyworld in Orlando Florida. Helena, who was only 2 then, didn't go on many of the rides, so me and Alex took turns sitting with her while the other went on the rides with the rest of the kids. All in all, it was a fun trip. (Especially for me and Alex-- a bit after we got home, we found out we were pregnant with Gabriel)
Ashton started middle school this year- 6th grade! (They grow up so fast). He absolutely loves it. He's still quite popular, and even complains about little girls following him and Nate around at school!
Avril and Amelie are in 4th grade this year, and are showing us how very different they are. Avril is taking guitar lessons, and Amelie loves her art classes.
Phoenix and River started first grade, and they're both little troublemakers. They seem to like switching names and confusing their teachers.
Ruby has adapted perfectly into our family. She's rather shy, like Amelie, but seems to be doing well in kindergarten.
Helena loves staying at home with me during the day. She follows me around with one of her dolls and takes care of it as I take care of Gabriel. She tells me when she grows up, she'd like to be a mommy.
Everyone was excited to meet baby Gabriel, when he finally showed up. However, me and Alex think, that after eight kids (4 boys and 4 girls, perfect!) we're ready to stop and enjoy raising the kids we have. :)
