About a year ago, John and I decided to take the kids on a trip to Disneyland and California Adventure in Los Angeles, which really was a wonderful chance for us all to be together and have a lot of fun. The kids had a blast and spent each day getting on ride after ride, though each had a preference for their favorite rides.
Elisabeth's was Soarin' Over California, John's was Indiana Jones, Livvy's was Finding Nemo, Jake's was Pirates of the Caribbean, and though Grant couldn't get on very many rides, since he was only two at the time, he really enjoyed Dumbo.
A couple of months after arriving back home, John and I were thrilled to find out we were expecting another baby, and were later surprised with the miracle of two little ones. Julia Rebecca, whom we have nicknamed Julie, and Jude Benjamin, were met with much love and adoration by the family, especially their big sisters and brothers who can't get enough of them. I think we're done have children, but the seven that we have are all a blessing in their own unique way, and neither John, nor I, can imagine life any other way.
