How are you pronouncing it: a-na-STAY-zha or a-na-STAS-ee-a? (helps for think of a mn :)

I would stick with the i and no y.

It depends on the spelling:

Anastasia "anna-stay-ja"

Anastasiya "anna-stay-zee-a"

Most likely I would spell it with an "i" :)
